International Order Customer Service Manager

(Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree preferred, at least 1-year relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides general international order management to include order entry, promised date compliance, backlog management, coordination of material shipments, on time delivery, order expediting, and status/tracking of international orders.
  • Following established procedures, perform a variety of Back Office administrative responsibilities
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customer facing teams through courteous and efficient servicing of customer requests
Government Contract Procurement Specialist

(Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree required, at least 2 years relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with government agencies to ensure that all regulations are met
  • Preparing proposals to sell goods and services to new clients or to increase business with existing clients
  • Negotiating contracts with buyers on behalf of sellers to ensure that terms are fair and reasonable for both parties
  • Developing and implementing contract administration procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations
  • Analyzing bids and proposals to determine whether they meet legal requirements and are financially viable for the company
  • Collecting bids from multiple companies or individuals on a specific product or service and selecting the best offer based on price and other factors
  • Reviewing and analyzing existing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions

Global Trade Compliance Specialist

(Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, 3-5 years relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with trade compliance investigations, risk mitigation, audits, and self-assessments
  • Draft export/import license applications
  • Analyse proposed business activities for export control implications & provide appropriate guidance
  • Conduct due diligence reviews in connection with transactions that may pose a trade compliance risk to the Company
  • Monitor and study relevant regulatory developments (Department of State, Department of Commerce, Customs & Border Protection, Office of Foreign Assets Control)
  • Leading and directing implementation of trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures, training, and internal audit programs to help ensure compliance with U.S. Government and non-U.S. import and export regulations
  • Manage clients, customs consultants, and customs brokers to ensure compliant, efficient, and cost-effective entry of goods
  • Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance in the following areas: export Control Classification, Export Licensing, Compliance training, Export Documentation, Tariff Classification, Customs Valuation, Duty Drawback, Reconciliation, Country of Origin Marking, Country of Origin Determination, Recordkeeping, Preference Programs/FTAs and Customs Clearance
  • Ensure proper product tariff classification and valuation information
  • Develop and maintain customized compliance programs and processes specific to client needs
Internal ATF Compliance Specialist/Manager

Internal ATF Compliance Specialist/Manager

(Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, 3-5 years relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage ATF Compliance
  • Responsible for developing and implementing import/export Trade Compliance procedures
  • ATF licensing and oversight, ensuring compliance with ATF-related policies, procedures, and processes (PPPs)
  • Perform 4473 checks and ensure documentation is completed properly
  • Keep up to date with all ATF regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure ATF compliance with applicable laws and implementing regulations, including the National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA), the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA), the Safe Explosives Act of 2002 (SEA), the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970 (OCCA), and the Arms Export Control Act of 1976 (AECA).
  • Leverages knowledge of regulatory cross over issues between the NFA, GCA, SEA, OCCA, and AECA to measure and or mitigate potential business impact Supports, mentors, and develops diversified individuals in the management of ATF compliance and responsibilities at the facility level
  • Reviews variance requests, exemption requests, hardware determinations, import permits, and conducts new program pursuit assessments Ensures timely and accurate recordkeeping of applicable firearms and explosives acquisitions and dispositions
  • Manages and oversees Federal Firearms License (FFL) Federal Explosives License (FEL) renewals close outs, trade names, and required state permits Supports ATF site inspections (includes preparation activities and post audit corrective actions – internal and external)
  • Enforces compliance, creates corrective actions, and manages program recovery Manages escalation process for issues and briefs BU leadership accordingly
  • Trade Compliance Manager

    (Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
    Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, 3-5 years relevant experience.
    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Support with the management of Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), Third Party Transfers (TPT), Warehouse Distribution Agreements (WDA) and Technology Control Plans (TCP)
    • Determine Export Classification and Jurisdiction of purchased and manufactured items
    • Lead the development and execution of Trade Compliance training
    • Ensure compliance with administrative requirements applicable to export transactions, including recordkeeping, certification, and reporting requirements
    • The Trade Compliance Officer will provide guidance and support to internal resources to identify controlled data and hardware, licensable transactions, evaluate export license requests, gather necessary data, prepare documentation for license applications for submission to the appropriate government agency as well as trade related reporting, recordkeeping, and maintenance of existing licenses
    Empowered Official/Senior Global Trade Compliance Specialist

    (Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
    Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, 5-7 years relevant experience.
    Primary Responsibilities:

    • The Senior Global Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible for the management and continued implementation of effective export compliance programs under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
    • Ensure compliance with administrative requirements applicable to export transactions, including recordkeeping, certification, and reporting requirements
    • Proficient in federal regulatory requirements in the areas of U.S. export compliance and documentation, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), etc.
    • Coordinate and assist with investigations into potential export compliance violations including root cause analysis; present findings to counsel and leadership, prepare reports and disclosures as appropriate, and work with business partners to implement process improvement as appropriate
    • Perform annual export compliance training to ensure a knowledgeable and educated workforce
    Warehouse Manager

    (Full-Time Position in Columbia, SC)
    Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree, 3-5 years relevant experience.
    Primary Responsibilities:

    • This professional multi-hat wearer will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and loading activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn
    • The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time
    • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
    • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
    • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
